Style Rediscovered
The Wagoneer S was granted its name for a reason. The “S” stands for Speed, Striking, and Sexy. The name is subject to change prior to the release, but for the moment, “S” seems to be the most accurate way to summarize everything the new electric Wagoneer has to offer. The new design is sleek and completely reinvented. There will be some recognizable features, like the reimagined grille with seven vertical elements, but for the most part, the electric Wagoneer S will sport a body that isn’t like anything we’ve ever seen from the Stallantis brand. The body perfectly balances the thin line of harmony found between an undeniably attractive build and an aerodynamic design by boasting new features, like the hovering roof spoiler.
Never Stop
When it comes to power, the Wagoneer S won’t fall short. The Wagoneer S is set to have the speed to go from 0-60 MPH in approximately 3.5 seconds. To achieve this, the all-electric Wagoneer S motor will come ready with up to 600 horsepower. Moreover, the Wagoneer S is built to keep going. The powertrain is expected to achieve a range of around 400 miles on a single charge, which will pair excellently with the undisclosed, but highly anticipated off-road 4×4 systems.

An Electrifying Future
Jeep is looking to lead the charge in all-electric, all-terrain dominance. We all know about the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe electric hybrid models that have made waves around the nation, but there hasn’t been an all-electric Jeep… until now! While information is very limited, Jeep revealed at the Paris Motor Show this past October that they will be introducing four fully-electric SUVs to their roster and have plans to eliminate carbon emissions from their entire lineup. The Plan
By 2025, Jeep plans to only release fully electric and electric-hybrid models in North America and Europe, with the hope that by 2030, all Jeeps in production will be fully electric. The goal is that by 2030, 50% of all North American Jeep sales and 100% of all European Jeep sales will be fully electric models. The news is not surprising to anyone who has kept up with Jeep and Stellantis as a whole, as models like the 4xe Jeeps, the Dodge Hornet, and future vehicles, like the fully-electric 2024 Dodge Charger, have caught the attention of drivers around the nation. If you’re wondering, “Does Jeep have a fully electric vehicle?” The answer is currently no. However, that will soon change with the release of the Jeep Recon in North America, the Jeep Avenger in Europe, and the reimagined Wagoneer S which is set for a global release.
Here’s what we know about each of these new electric Jeeps:
Jeep Recon
This Jeep will feature trail-rated capability and similar to the Jeep Wrangler, will have all-terrain systems like Selec-Terrain traction management. The Jeep Recon will also feature removable tops, doors, and glass. Reservations for this fully electric BEV Jeep SUV will open in early 2023, while production will begin in 2024.
Jeep Avenger
The targeted battery range of the Jeep Avenger is approximately 400 kilometers and the off-road capability will be catered to the European market. Production is already underway and these new fully electric Jeep SUV models are expected to be released in early 2023.
Wagoneer S
The class and luxury we expect from Wagoneer vehicles will certainly impress, as well as the new aerodynamic design and powertrain capabilities that will be seen in the Wagoneer S. Off-road prowess and top-tier motor performance will come standard in the Wagoneer S. The SUV will have a targeted range of 400 miles, 600 horsepower, and the ability to go from 0-60 MPH in a mere 3.5 seconds. This new battery-electric vehicle (BEV) is simply incredible. The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT® BEV may still be in its concept phase, but Dodge has been very open about the vehicle and has already revealed a stunning prototype to the public on day three of Dodge Speed Week. It is finally happening. The BEV Dodge Charger Daytona SRT® is recapturing the thrill and power that set the world on fire in 1970 when the Dodge Charger became the first car to ever break 200 MPH on a professional racetrack. Currently, the only Dodge Charger Daytona SRT® BEV specs that have been revealed are the horsepower ratings for the lower two trims, which max out at 455 horsepower and 590 horsepower. However, they have revealed that the highest trim, the AWD, 800-Volt BEV Dodge Charger Daytona SRT® Banshee, will outperform a fully suited-up 2023 Dodge Charger SRT® Hellcat Redeye in every way. To put that into perspective, that means the BEV Dodge Charger Daytona SRT® Banshee will have more than 807 horsepower and 707 lb.-ft. of torque, be able to go from 0-60 MPH in under 3.5 seconds, and have a top speed of well over 200 MPH.

What’s in the Works?
Here’s what we currently know about the 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV: it’s AWESOME. While the 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV’s interior is expected to be visually similar to the current Jeep JL-series Wrangler, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV will likely feature new technology, such as a biometric recognition system that will possibly be able to differentiate physical features of the vehicle’s owner using features such as facial recognition or fingerprint scanning, to confirm the identity of the driver and lock/unlock the vehicle or start the Jeep’s engine. There may even be four chassis-mounted battery pack configurations and a feature that allows two 2024 Jeep Wrangler EVs to recharge each other. In 2021, when Stellantis unveiled their 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Magneto prototype, the powertrain was said to be capable of 285 horsepower and the cabin would sport all of the classic Jeep features, like removable doors and a removable top. However, until production is complete, information will remain fluid.

The Hurricane twin-turbo I-6 engine features two variants: the Standard Output engine and the High Output engine. The Standard Output Hurricane engine is designed to maximize fuel economy potential without sacrificing high caliber performance. This engine can produce more than 400 horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. of torque. Its sister engine, the High Output Hurricane variant, is designed to amplify performance without forfeiting high caliber fuel economy. The High Output Hurricane is capable of producing over 500 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque. The Hurricane currently doesn’t just match the performance of V8 engines, it is also over 15% more efficient and produces significantly less tailpipe emissions. Despite how impressive the Hurricane twin-turbo I-6 engine is in its current state, Stellantis won’t stop improving this engine until it produces zero carbon emissions. Barring any hiccups, Stellantis plans to have the Hurricane’s emissions cut in half by 2030 and down to zero carbon emissions by 2038, redefining the standard of high performance engines.
