Ready to Make Waves We’re excited to announce Jeep's triumphant beach return. Like anything, Jeep goes big. In the final week of April, Jeep Beach Week, otherwise known as one of the biggest Jeep charity events of the year, will take place along with the release of their favored sea-side models. These special edition models will include 500 units of the Jeep Wrangler High Tide to be released. These exclusive models will feature unique Jeep Beach decals, a shifter medallion, embroidered leather seats, standard body-color fenders, and a swing gold plaque. The Jeep Wrangler High Tide, which is based on the Sport S model, will be ready to tackle the sandy terrain with the X-Treme Recon Package, which includes features like 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires, a Sunrider Fliptop, rock rails, and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels. Both Jeep Wrangler High Tide and limited Jeep Beach editions will be offered in several exterior colors like Hydro Blue, Sting Gray, Punk’n, Bright White, High Velocity, and Black. ASK US ABOUT CARB REGULATIONS Pump the Brakes Times are changing, which means new standards are being set in place. This spring, Stellantis announced that they will be adjusting their vehicle rollout based on whether a state abides by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) emissions rules. Whether you’re planning to buy a Jeep Wrangler or not, this is big news for the automotive industry. Interested to see what’s in store for Stellantis in CARB states? Driving Forward As we mentioned before, to be a CARB state, the state adheres to the rules and regulations of the California Air Resources Board. In addition to Washington D.C., there are currently fourteen CARB states, including: Colorado Connecticut Delaware Maine Maryland Massachusetts New Jersey New York Oregon Pennsylvania Rhode Island Vermont Virginia Washington What Does This Mean? Essentially, CARB states will have an immense reduction of gas-only shipments, or in some cases, the shipments will be cut off completely. However, these CARB states will be the ones receiving Stellantis PHEV models. So what does this mean for non-CARB states? In short, states that do not identify as CARB states will be the ones receiving all of the Stellantis gas models and little to no PHEV models. For example, if someone lives in Maryland, they’ll have to cross into non-CARB territory to get a gas-only model, or they will have to order the vehicle from Stellantis to be shipped.
